lip service

It is easy for Christian homeschoolers to say that their objective is to raise believers and that academic excellence is subservient to the primary goal. However, as I work on my schedule for the year - I find it easy to fall into worry and begin to obsess about worldly success and abilities.

Over and over and over again, I have to remind myself that all the academic success and social achievement in the world means nothing if you don't have God. Money is useless in light of eternity.

I pray that God helps me to remember that my purpose is to bring Him glory.

Oh, sister. Can I just tell you that I am so with you? This has been the VERY thing I have been battling the last two weeks. Thanks for the lovely hand pointing back home!
